3. Sale, Sharing & Disclosure
Mail Vidi Vici may disclose, license, provide access to, sell, or otherwise make available professional contact data to subscribers in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration. Such activity may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal data under certain privacy laws, depending on jurisdictional interpretation.
Mail Vidi Vici does not knowingly sell sensitive personal data. Lookup Subjects may exercise opt-out, suppression, or removal rights where required by applicable law.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
4.1 GDPR (EU/EEA & UK)
We rely on legitimate interests, contractual necessity, and consent where required (e.g., certain cookies). Legitimate interests include B2B contact discovery, inferred data generation, commercial licensing of professional data, fraud prevention, and service improvement. Data subjects may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
4.2 KVKK (Türkiye)
Processing may be based on legitimate interest and contractual/legal obligations where applicable. We do not rely solely on “public disclosure” as a basis for inferred data that may not be publicly available.
4.3 U.S. state privacy laws
We provide disclosures and opt-out mechanisms required by applicable U.S. state privacy laws (including but not limited to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Delaware).
5. User Responsibilities
- We do not provide legal advice.
- Users are solely responsible for determining whether their downstream use of lookup data complies with applicable laws.
- We do not monitor or control downstream use of lookup data.
6. Retention & Suppression
We retain account data until deletion, and retain lookup logs and inferred data for operational, audit, security, and optimization purposes. Billing records may be retained as required by law.
6.1 Remove Profile / Suppression
Lookup Subjects may request suppression or removal. Upon request, we delete associated personal data and add identifiers (e.g., LinkedIn URL) to a hashed suppression list so future lookups return NULL.
7. International Transfers
We may transfer data globally. For EU/UK transfers we may use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplementary measures.
8. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (including encryption in transit, access controls, logging, monitoring, and incident response). No system is fully secure.
9. Children
The Services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
